Kevin ChinKevin Chin founded the ACGA in 2020 to unite and elevate the Asian, Pacific Islander, and South Asian music community. He served as a Director and Chief Media Production Officer for MediaTech Ventures in a similar role, and was previously a Six Sigma Certified Project Manager and Project Engineer for a Fortune 500 company before moving to Austin in 2013.
He is a classically and jazz trained multi-instrumental musician, music producer, composer, and audio engineer with over 30 years of experience in a diverse array of genres. He has performed internationally, as well as locally, performing to 5,000+ crowds back in his home city of Chicago, where much of his rock, pop, jazz, and blues chops were honed. He is also a member of the Recording Academy / Grammys as well as the Emmys. Kevin also teaches at the Austin Film Society and has worked on man national and internationally distributed documentaries and films. He is also a video producer, owning and operating Northshore Media Productions, a Full-Service Multimedia Production company that specializes in Video, Music, and Audio Production, as well as Photography. Finally he is a Multimedia Producer and partner at Master of Social, a digital and social media marketing agency.
